Dropfabriek
The Dropfabriek project has also been developed in cooperation with Concept7. Concept7 has developed the idea with the client, the graphic design and xHTML. Digitalus Webdesign has done the development (front-end/back-end) for this project.
Dropfabriek is a webshop that has the following target: give Dutch people that live or work abroad the possibility to order the Dutch product 'drop'. Information on social networks like Hyves and Twitter has shown that Dutch people abroad miss their 'drop'.
Dropfabriek has developed three products and these products can be ordered and paid via the Internet. The products will be delivered on the filled in delivery address.
Connections with social networks Hyves, Twitter, Facebook are integrated in the website. Besides that there is a DropBlog and pictures and videos from Flickr and Vimeo are shown.
After the first release in October, the project was not finished. In cooperation with Concept7, Digitalus Webdesign has developed points of improvement for the website. Some changes that have been integrated in the site till now:
- Product images on the product detail page
- Full integration of creditcard payment with XML/SSL connection
- Add of the number of grams per package on the product detail page
- New form for delivery address to send products as a present
- New module Alle dropsoorten: with this module, people have the possibility to create their own product. This is a good solution for people who do not know what to choose or who simply do like the product drop!
